I've been trying to find the right energy food to eat before I head out for a long morning skate. I used to eat a bran muffin, but all that did was make me go faster under duress...I've taken to eating a Nature Valley Granola Bar and that seems to be helping me wake up quicker and hit top speed quicker and for a longer run. Just wondering if anyone else has experimented with power foods and if so, what were the results.
