Roll to Live, Live to Roll

I have seen this question on other sites many times but now I need new skates. I am coming off the k2 radical 100. I am looking at the Bont semi-race. I can't afford $1000 for skates. Anybody?

The K2's have a mid-cuff, right? Rollerblade just put out a mid-cuff 110 version of their Speedmachine. It looks pretty sweet. I've been skating on the old RB Lightning 10's and Problade for several years now, and I've replaced my Lightning 10's twice (I wore out the first pair - I skate a lot.) I love them. See Tony's comments on our friends experience with the Bont's. Let us know what you do!

Going to Duluth this year?

I just bought a pair of Luigino Attitude's this weekend. It's a low-cuff boot but that said the low cuff is pretty high, giving that extra ankle support if you need it. I bought them to use indoors, but haven't been lacing them up all the way. They are very comfortable and the price was right - got them used. Have you looked at the used gear on Nettracing? You'll find a lot of stuff in good condition out there for a fraction of the cost of new. Good luck.

The new Jets could not be better. Fit is great. Low cuff and 110s are great. Took it easy on the first skate, distance and pace. Tomorrow I hammer. If you are a biker on the park road, check your mirror.
